Our beautiful coastal community is made up of a number of distinct villages, several islands, and a diverse population of both year round and seasonal residents. Together, they form a community of people who care for one another.
Begun more than 33 years ago to help a family who had undergone a tragic loss, the non-profit Harpswell Santa Fund has grown into a town-wide, year round effort to ensure that homes are warm, everyone has enough to eat, and that children have clothing and toys to help them have a happy holiday. Our pledge to everyone who needs our help is complete and utter confidentiality from start to finish.
- We work with local schools, organizations, and places of worship to identify those, young and old, who may be in times of trouble.
- We arrange for the distribution of clothing to the children, delivery of the right toys to the right age groups, provide heating fuel to those who qualify, and make sure that our friends and neighbors are not going hungry.
We couldn’t do this work without the help of people like you. Thank you.
Financial Gifts & Sponsorship
In 2023 alone we helped numerous children, families, and many older folks. Each year these numbers have grown. As the need increases, your tax-deductible gift of support will help fellow Harpswell residents. The Harpswell Santa Fund is a 501(c)3 organization.
